Supporting a more sustainable Kyoto by the Sea
We support small communities and endangered cultures, along with the environment that allows them to exist.
We are dedicated to promoting more sustainable travel. The tours and products we devlop keep at least one of the following key goals in mind:
Environment: we work with businesses, individuals, and key partners to create environmentally sustainable travel experiences.
Culture: We stand behind the region’s heritage artisans, creating experiences designed to generate interest in preserving, supporting, or learning unique and rare Japanese heritage arts.
Community: The Kyoto by the Sea area includes small communities that can both benefit greatly from or suffer from the impacts of tourism. We are constantly looking at ways we can help maintain this balance, with the aim of keeping these communities thriving years from now.
