Barazushi and Local Longevity Culinary Experience

Tango Kingdom is located in Kyotango, and gets its name for the ancient Tango Kingdom, where Japanese civilization was born. The region is also home to the world record holder of World’s Oldest Male, and the highest concentration of people over 100 worldwide. Diet is one aspect of why people live here so long. Guests will receive a lecture about health cuisine in Kyotango, have lunch that includes a healthy bento and also Barazushi which is a delicacy that local people ate only on special occassions.
