An evolutionary yakiniku restaurant that stands out in Fukuchiyama, the town of meat.

Founded in 1981 in the town of Fukuchiyama, a competitive place to be a yakiniku restaurant owner as the city is known for its meat. At present, second generation Shinya Otsuki has taken over and is attracting attention as a restaurant where you can enjoy creative meat-based dishes with French flair that are carefully selected for their quality. First and foremost is the quality of the beef. Ninokichi purchases a wide range of products from local areas all the way down to Kyushu, always looking for the best quality. The chef takes care of most of the process of aging and cutting, and refining the cut until the taste is perfect. Also, as you can see from the aesthetically arranged meat, the focus of this restaurant is on original French cuisine designed personally by Mr. Otsuki. Creative menus such as smoked deer and bagna cauda have appeared, both of which pair well with wine. The restaurant is a fusion of roasted meat and French cuisine.

After polishing my skills for about 20 years at French restaurants in Switzerland, Kamakura, and Tokyo’s Nishi-Azabu, I returned to my hometown and took over the restaurant. We would like you to enjoy a variety of creative dishes along with traditional tastes. We use carefully selected meat and local wild game that we catch and prepare ourselves. An ideal meal consists of perfectly grilled meat, a glass of wine and an appetizer. I want to be a restaurant that can people visit for a variety of reasons. At the Fukuchiyama Wonder Market, which is held every month, we also have a very playful menu! Please come and visit us.

Beef tongue (upper portion)

The upper portion of beef tongue is the most popular item on the menu. The cut is bold, with a thickness that allows you to fully enjoy the taste of the meat. 1,100 yen (excluding tax)

Assorted game game (boar / deer)

The game is caught by chef Otsuki's father in a nearby mountain village. The entire process, from preparation to cutting, is managed by two people. The preparations are meticulous so the meat is mellow and lacks a pungent odor. 1,300 yen (excluding tax)

This menu item is a favorite of regular customers. It's delicious when grilled with other meat over charcoal, and it has plenty of flavor even when served with locally grown vegetables.
