Mountain and Sea with Japan Sea Ranch

cost estimate: lunch and dinner 1,000-4,000 yen

Kyotango beef is the standard

This restaurant is located at "Tango Kingdom," and specializes in Kyotango beef and seasonal vegetables. The menu is filled with Kyototankuro Wagyu beef and aged meat from Tango, raised on the Japan Sea Ranch, which overlooks the sea and has beautiful water and air. Kyotankuro beef is a Japanese beef from Kyoto that combines the taste of lean shorthorn beef with the smooth taste of Japanese black beef. At the Japan Sea Ranch, the cows can graze freely and grow up healthly and stress free. More than 50% of the feed is made from Kyotango rice or fermented okara soy sauce produced in Kyotango. They focus on lean meat with lots of flavor. They also produce natural salt and black garlic that complement the meat.

from the chef:

This restaurant was started to share the amazing quality meat raised at the Japan Sea Ranch. We would like you to experience Kyotango beef, which is raised in a nature-filled environment. The lean meat produced here is especially rich in flavor. And since we use local ingredients, we are able to see where the food comes from, which gives us peace of mind. Considering the quality of the ingredients, we think that the prices here are quite reasonable. I want to share the tastes of Tango with you!
