A restaurant where you can experience real Amanohashidate food culture without needing to dress it up

A group restaurant of a long-established inn in Amanohashidate [Chitose]. The Vineyard Restaurant of Amanohashidate Winery offers a buffet-style meal using locally grown ingredients. There are some really unique dishes such as salted fried chicken dipped in salted white wine using Amanohashidate white wine, and a jelly-dessert using the peels of grape skins and seeds dried in the fields. It's also nice to be able to easily experience local food culture through classics like miso soup, which is produced by locally based [Setoya Miso]. At the restaurant, you can not only purchase [Amanohashidate Winery] wine by the glass but you can also bring your own bottle. You can visit the wine factory, vineyard farms, and barrel / bottle cellars in the basement of the Winery freely, so don't forget to visit before or after your meal. The annexed building also has a bakery and local products for sale.

I've been in charge of this restaurant since it opened 6 years ago. We started with the hope that both locals and tourists would enjoy not only wine but also the natural blessings of Miyazu. Some of the dishes offered here include the lightly fermented juiced-wine, the result of grapes after they are pressed. I would like to strongly promoted the Miyazu to those who have come all the way here. Personally, I like to relax on the terrace after eating. It has a panoramic view of Amanohashidate and bay.

Niagara White wine jelly

A classic dessert made from white wine of the "Niagara" grape variety, which is elegantly sweet and often used in aperitifs. But there is no alcohol content in this dessert so even children can enjoy it.
