Barbecuing with Kyotamba Highland Pork

Ton’s Kitchen is a barbecue restaurant that serves Tamba Highland pork from Hiyoshi Farm in Nantan City. Hiyoshi Farm is a three time recipient of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Award for highest quality at the West Japan Pork Contest. This award-winning pork was also served at the 2019 G20 Summit in Osaka. The meat is smooth and marbled with bright pink coloring. This is unlike any other pork you have eaten. At Ton’s Kitchen, the meat is prepared in a variety of different ways, from barbecue to pork cutlet set meals. The rice and vegetables served as sides are also locally produced. And Ton’s Kitchen is the perfect natural setting to connect with nature and your food.

from the chef:

After working in the restaurant business in Osaka for about 14 years, I joined "Hiyoshi Farm" to learn more about the food I hoped to serve when I started to work independently. While there, I was introduced to Kyotamba Highland pork and was instantly hooked! After working there for a few years, I asked if I could make this restaurant (which was a directly managed restaurant at the time) independent.

We wanted as many people as possible to understand the quality and flavor of Kyotamba’s pork and decided to keep the prices Ton’s purposely low to share it with everyone. We look forward to your patronage!
